an ever green world
The Ever Green is a sliver of an immense formation.
In life, the Hell Creek formation spans a broad swathe of the modern Great Plains. The Ever Green represents a mere five-kilometer portion of what is now southeastern Montana and northwestern South Dakota.
Based on isotopic and fossil data, the Ever Green is reconstructed as a seasonal floodplain similar in appearance to the Okavango delta. Other speculative biomes are also shown, from a giant dormant volcano to blooming flower fields.
